Without exception every Service User he spoke to confirmed they were made extremely welcome and treated with dignity, kindness, compassion, courtesy, respect, understanding and honesty at all times.
He also said that
The highly effective systems and the passionate culture of support that exists throughout the organisation ensures delivery of a high quality and totally ‘customer focused’ approach.

Celebration Event

A BIG THANK YOU to all the families who attended our Celebration Event Wednesday 15th June at the Coffee Culture Café in Shibden Park .

It was the first celebration event we had organised and was a great success.  We are hoping this will become an annual event.

The event was in recognition of long service support, commitment and attendance as a volunteer.  The commitment, achievement and amazing attendance on family and adult learning courses.  The of support, commitment and attendance as a volunteer with Dads R Us.  Also In recognition of Apprentices reaching their goal and gaining employment.

It was great to see so many families having fun.  Lots of craft activities to keep the children entertained including face painting. Certificates were presented followed by afternoon tea.   Every family left with a goody bag.

Annual Consultation – Your Views Matter!

Annual Consultation – Your Views Matter!

Following on from the completion of our Annual Consultation process in Dec 2015  all the questionnaires have now been collated and information / statistics have been analysed.

We would like to say a massive THANK YOU to all of you who filled out our questionnaire.  Your comments are important to us to be able to improve the services we provide and meet the needs of our families.  It also helps us focus on what services are families need the most and rely on due to Calderdale reviewing future budget cuts.

The figures are very impressive, a staggering 824 questionnaires were completed, this was a 27% increase on last year.  Staff are proud of the results where overall 97% of families rated their satisfaction at 4-5.  100% of families stated they felt safe in our centres.

The winner of the £50 prize draw was Zara O’Prey, a local mum who regularly attends Illingworth Children’s centre and our activity groups.  Well done Zara!
