This summer, North Halifax Partnership achieved The Calderdale Volunteering Kite mark for demonstrating consistent quality as a volunteering involving organisation. The kite mark covers all aspects of our practice from how we recruit volunteers to the one to one supervision and supported next-steps for volunteers.
The kite mark is awarded by North Bank Forum (Nbf), the organisation which provides support to the voluntary sector on behalf of Calderdale Council, and is known locally as Calderdale Sector Support. Together with our other awards and accreditations like Quality for Health; Bronze Award for Environmental Business Pledge; and CHAS accreditation, the Volunteering Kite mark shows that people outside NHP have looked at our work across the organisation and confirmed it meets a high standard. Well done everyone for achieving this.
We are pleased to announce that North Halifax Partnership have been successful in achieving the level 2 Quality for Health award. There were many positives and many areas of excellent practice were commented on.
The Assessor also fed back that:
Without exception every Service User he spoke to confirmed they were made extremely welcome and treated with dignity, kindness, compassion, courtesy, respect, understanding and honesty at all times.
He also said that
The highly effective systems and the passionate culture of support that exists throughout the organisation ensures delivery of a high quality and totally ‘customer focused’ approach.
Had your baby in the last six months? We’d love your help with our
online survey about your experience with feeding…
If you live in Kirklees, Wakefield or Calderdale, please take a few
minutes to complete our survey to help us understand infant
feeding from your perspective. Sharing your views and experiences will help to shape our
services to support other new mums.
Please use the survey to tell us about the information, support and services you found useful, along with the things you feel that were missing.
