Welcome to Kevin Pearce Children’s Centre and Nursery
Kevin Pearce Children’s Centre is a 49 place day nursery that offers a range of sessions for children aged between 0 and 5 years of age. The nursery consists of the Mini Movers Unit (0-2 years) and the Early Years Unit (2 years +)
The staff team at Kevin Pearce, all of which are qualified to a minimum of Level 3 or equivalent and hold a paediatric first aid certificate, strive to ensure that each individual child’s needs are met, supporting and developing their full potential so they achieve the learning and development goals, set out in the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework.
Kevin Pearce has the additional benefit of having extensive outdoor facilities. We have a large secure artificial grassed garden area, a Forest School with fully equipped POD and separate outdoor spaces for the Mini Movers.

What is Early Essence?
It is an online tool to record all our Children’s Centres use to record children’s development and produce assessments that are shared with parents.
Parents are able to securely log in online to access their child’s individual learning journey. Details of how to do this will be given to parents at the point of registration.
Within the learning journey parents are able to see picture, observations and video clips which are uploaded by Children’s Centre staff. They are also able to upload picture, video’s and comments to support their child’s learning and development at home.
If you are a parent whose child attends one of our nurseries you are able to access Early Essence using the following link. You will need your own personal log in details to do this.
We are open Monday to Friday from 7.45am to 5.45pm. We close for Christmas, the New Year and Bank Holidays. We also close twice a year for staff training.
