Welcome to Ash Green Children Centre Nursery
Ash Green Children Centre Nursery was established in June 2010. We provide outstanding day care for children under the age of Five years old and ensure the best learning environment and the highest expectations for children’s long life-learning, achievement and happiness.
The Vicarage
The vicarage offers day care for children aged 0 – 3 years old, this space allows throughout the day to play with well resource play areas indoor and outdoor. The space gives children the rich play experiences in a safe, nurturing and calm environment. The Vicarage opens onto a large secure garden area. Children can rest in a separate area throughout the day.
Parents/ Carers are provided with daily information of their child’s day such as play experiences, meals and general well-being throughout the day. We operate a Key Person system a staff member will be allocated to your child, the Key Person will support you and your child in settling with us at nursery; be a point of contact; and ensure that your child’s development and care is nurtured.
The 2-3 room
The 2-3 room offers Term Time Only 15 hours Early Education Funding for 2 years old. The sessions are allocated Monday – Friday morning session 08.45 – 11.45 or afternoon session 12.30 -15.30 for children aged 2 -3 years. This room is situated in Ash Green Community Primary School on Mixenden Road.
The space allows children to play with well-resourced play areas indoors and outdoors. The space allows children to experience rich play activities to support children’s development and well-being. The room opens onto a large secure outside area with a wide variety of paly experiences.
We operate a Key Person system a staff member will be allocated to your child, the Key Person will support you and your child in settling with us at nursery. Be a point of contact and ensure that your child’s development and care is nurtured.

Holiday Club: 8am-3.30pm / 8.30am-4pm (Subject to availability – inc. breakfast/lunch/snack) £27.00
We do not charge for bank holidays or training days when the nursery is closed.
One-off, occasional and irregular bookings are welcome, but are subject to availability and booking conditions.
Fees are reviewed annually and there is usually a small increase every July.
Our healthy menus are planned following guidance from The Food for Life Award.

What is Early Essence?
It is an online tool to record all our Children’s Centres use to record children’s development and produce assessments that are shared with parents.
Parents are able to securely log in online to access their child’s individual learning journey. Details of how to do this will be given to parents at the point of registration.
Within the learning journey parents are able to see picture, observations and video clips which are uploaded by Children’s Centre staff. They are also able to upload picture, video’s and comments to support their child’s learning and development at home.
If you are a parent whose child attends one of our nurseries you are able to access Early Essence using the following link. You will need your own personal log in details to do this.

The nursery operates between the hours of 8am-6pm. We offer full day and half day sessions (Morning or Afternoon).
Full day session – 8am – 6pm
A.M. session – 8am-12.30pm
P.M. session – 1pm – 6pm
2-3 Room
