We are also pleased to be offering a Baby Massage course.

You can choose from:

Option 1: Baby and Me followed by Baby Massage (10 weeks)

Option 2: Baby and Me only (5 weeks)

Option 3: Baby Massage only (5 weeks)

You can select the option plus the course you wish to do when completing the booking form:

If you live in Ovenden and are in your third trimester, come down to the ‘Getting Ready for Baby’ course starting on Wednesday 6th December 2023 between 10m and 2.45pm.

Feel free to drop into the start of the session with your partner or friend / relative.

Refreshments and a warm welcome provided.

The service will support families living in Calderdale.

It is that time of year again where we are asking for you to share your views on the services we provide!

Lower Valley Children Centres’ Service would like to invite you to our upcoming Special Educational Needs Support Group Interactive Play Session – ✨ Shining Stars ✨

Our second group will be running on Saturday 2nd December 10am-11.30am. This group is currently in the piloting stages, but if well attended and beneficial, we will continue to run on the first Saturday of every month at Wellholme Park Children’s Centre.

This group will be ran by our fantastic team of practitioners and a member of the Portage Team will be there for any specialist support or advice.

Are you a Dad / Male Carer and want to get stuck in to some exciting den building at Cromwell Bottom? Well look no further!
On Saturday 2nd of December, between 10-12pm, pop down for a FREE event. Places are limited so make sure you call and book yours today on 01484 386621.

On Monday 30th October we were joined by families from across Lower Valley for our annual half term event, which this time was Pumpkin Picking and more.

We had over 20 families totalling in around 70 attendees come along and join in the fun!

Attendees were able to select a pumpkin from our indoor patch and then were invited to the creative station to paint and decorate their pumpkin. We also had some spooky face painting going on, delicious biscuit making and a dedicated baby sensory area for our younger attendees.

We received some absolutely amazing feedback including…

“Really good for other Mum and Dad to interact with other parents for more social time for adults and the children.”

“Always well organised, fun safe events.”

“Lovely event, girls really enjoyed it.”

“Really enjoyed – face painting, decorating food, seeing and being able to interact with families.”
