Sun Safety Poster Competition Results 🌞

At the start of May we launched our Sun Safety Poster Competition. We are pleased to announce that two winners have been chosen for our competition! The aim of our competition was to raise awareness about sun safety. We asked children to design a poster promoting different ways to stay safe in the sun. We have had over 200 entries – amazing! We were delighted to attend school Achievers Assemblies to award the winners with their prize of two cinema tickets, donated by and a printed copy of their winning posters and certificates. The winning posters will now be displayed in all our Children’s Centres. Well done and thank you to everyone who took part in our competition.

The dads and male carers event in Lower Valley for this quarter was held at Hollywell Green School on 17th June 2023.

Dads and male carers were given the opportunity to take part in a football session provided by Joe from Sportz Coaching.

Joe taught the children and dads/males carers some basic football skills before playing a mini game.

We had 8 dads attend this event with 12 children of different ages.
